New features
Section titled “New features”- Syncing an app now shows its progress live: a step-by-step checklist appears while the app is synced (whether you sync from the repository or while creating a report), and if something goes wrong you see the actual reason instead of a generic error.
- When creating a report, the app is now chosen from a searchable list grouped by stream, and only published apps are offered.
Improvements
Section titled “Improvements”- Apps in the repository are now synced one at a time, each with its own live progress, so you always see exactly what is happening for the app you are syncing. You can still select several apps at once to remove them together.
- Field values in report filters now open much faster after the first look: values are remembered for a while and refresh automatically whenever the app is synced again.
- While values are loading, the value picker clearly says so - including a heads-up that fields with many values can take a while - instead of appearing empty.
- Fields with an extremely large number of values now show how many values exist in total, list as many as can be displayed, and let you type an exact value that isn’t in the list.
- Very large apps that take several minutes to load are now given more time to finish syncing, so they no longer stop partway.
- Report filters no longer show an empty list of values on very large apps - the values now load reliably.
- You’ll no longer be signed out while you’re still working. An active session now stays valid for a full day of use, and saving a change right as your session renews no longer fails.
- Some servers where the connection test passed but syncing then stopped now connect and sync correctly.
