v1.16.0

  • You can now cancel an app sync while it is still running. Cancelling stops it right away and releases the connection to your Qlik server, instead of the sync carrying on unseen in the background.
  • App settings now stop you from turning on a pre-sync filter without choosing both a field and a value.
  • When adding a chart or table to a report, you can now search the object list by the stream or space it belongs to, and by its type - not just its name - so the right one is easier to find in large environments.
  • Columns in Excel attachments now size themselves to fit their contents, including long values further down in big exports, so the data is readable without widening columns by hand.
  • Pre-sync filters on number and date fields (for example, a Year) now apply correctly instead of being quietly ignored.
  • When syncing an app, the filter step now explains itself: if the filter cannot be applied, you see a clear warning with the reason instead of an unexplained “skipped”.
  • Report tables and Excel attachments no longer begin with the object’s title or its internal id as a first row. A title now appears only when you choose to show one.
  • Excel exports of tables that hide a column (using a “show column if” rule) now line up correctly, keeping the right columns and headers with no extra empty column and no mislabelling.
