License and activation

Covers the license status shown day to day in the admin console. For the one-time registration that activates a fresh installation, see Licensing your installation.

The top of the admin console always shows a status dot and text:

  • Green dot, “License valid until {date} | Client: {code}” - normal. {code} is the client code RLV Scribe was assigned when it registered.
  • Red dot, “License expired” - the license has lapsed. A banner also appears, and every Qlik app using this installation stops being able to write back until it’s resolved.
  1. If you see License expired, contact office@relevance.ro to renew.
  2. Once they confirm the renewal, come back to the admin console and select Retry on the banner. RLV Scribe re-checks your license immediately, rather than waiting for its own daily automatic check.
