Adding the extension to a Qlik app

Puts the RLV Scribe writeback grid on a Qlik Sense sheet. This is a task for whoever builds or edits the Qlik app, not necessarily an administrator.

  1. Open a Qlik Sense app in Edit mode and go to a sheet.
  2. In the visualizations panel, find Relevance Scribe - this is how RLV Scribe is listed among Qlik Sense’s own chart types - and drag it onto the sheet.
  3. Add at least one dimension and mark it Part of record key in the property panel (Data) - RLV Scribe uses this to identify which row a saved value belongs to.
  4. Under Data → Scribe Configuration → Service Settings, set the Table Id - this connects the object to a writeback table configured in the admin console. If you don’t have one yet, see Tables in Administration, or ask whoever administers your RLV Scribe installation for the Table Id to use.

Until a Table Id is set, the object shows a short setup guide instead of a grid - that’s expected, not an error.
